Hailing from the United Kingdom with roots from Jamaica, Calvin Clarke was already laying down drum grooves at the age of 6 that would literally move thousands just a few years after his teens. Calvin Clarke’s remarkable command of percussive instruments has taken him to perform at high-caliber events including; The Danish Grammy Awards (“Dansk Grammy”), Love Parade in Berlin & The Skanderborg Festival together with Dr. Alban. He has also performed with DJ Aligator, Blastique, Spacefrog, DJ’s Voodoo & Soreno, Richard F, Reza, Conti, London Beat, Head Kandi DJ’s, Snap, and as a percussionist with the band Cargo (DK). Armed with over 30 years of experience in the field of music (and also incidentally an active touring DJ of the 80‘s), Calvin Clarke is versatile in laying down rhythm for a wide variety of genres, be it; House, Electronica, R&B, Reggae, Funk, Pop, Latin, you name it.
